MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) – A $100,000 bond was set for a Mercer County man accused of kidnapping his two children.

Kyle Selden is being held in Mercer County Jail, facing charges including aggravated assault, kidnapping of a minor and attempting to elude police.

Trooper Ronald Fagley, of Pennsylvania State Police, said at about 5 p.m. Friday, Selden and his wife were fighting in their home, and his wife called police. He said while investigators questioned the woman, Selden grabbed the kids, both under the age of 6, and left with them in the car.

Troopers chased Selden, who they say pulled into a driveway and ran into the house without knocking. He left the kids in the car.

They were unharmed and returned to the custody of their mother.

Investigators say Selden has no previous criminal record.
