Crews work to fix a possible water main break on Churchill Road in Girard.

GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) – A hole in the road caused some traffic issues in Girard Monday night.

Crews were on scene at the intersection of Churchill Road and Beechwood Avenue around 7 p.m.

A hole, about six to eight feet in diameter, on Churchill Road was gushing water. Workers believed it was due to a water main break and dug to find the break.

There were some lane restrictions, but the road has since reopened.
