AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows, Holy Name Church, 613 N. Lakeview Ave. in Youngstown, for Margaret T. Sobnosky, 88, who died Wednesday evening, March 1 at Autumn Hills Nursing Home.
Margaret was born July 18, 1928, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Korfanta) Seman.
She was a graduate of Ursuline High School and worked as a cashier at Public Finance Corporation for 22 years until retiring in 1968.
Margaret was a lifelong member of the Holy Name Church, the Slovak Catholic Sokol, the Rosary Society and the Sam Camens Center.
She had a great love for animals and cared for many in her lifetime.
Margaret’s husband, Robert J. Sobnosky, whom she married August 8, 1953, died June 25, 2003.
She will be sadly missed by many family members and friends.
Margaret was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Ann Kraynak, Mary Brandsovich and Irene Zelinsky and a brother, Matthew Seman.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 4 from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows, Holy Name Church.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, Ohio 44512.
