LISBON, Ohio – Patricia Ann Strait, 84, of Freeman Rd., passed away at 12:06 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a recent illness.
Mrs. Strait was born July 29, 1932 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Joseph Patrick and Helen Mary (Case) Gannon.
A member of St. George Catholic Church, she helped her husband operate Liberty Bonding in Lisbon from 1960 until 2002.
She also enjoyed making ceramics and was a certified ceramics instructor.
Her husband, Ronald Duane Strait, whom she married August 25, 1950, preceded her in death February 9, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann “Tootie” Holmes; her brothers, Leonard Russell Gannon and Harley Robert “Butch” Gannon; her grandson, Joseph P. Miller and sons-in-law, Gary Seroka and Francis J. Miller, Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathleen Miller, Ronnetta Seroka and Debra (John R.) Stevens, Jr. all of Lisbon; former son-in-law, Gary L. Beverly, Sr. of Lisbon; sisters-in-law, Helen Gannon of Cleveland and Dolly Gannon of Hilton Head, South Carolina; grandchildren, Francis Miller, Christopher Miller, Megan Papic, Mitchell Lacey, Michael Lacey, Ronald Lacey, Gary Lee (Tina) Beverly, Jr., Kevin J. (Angel) Beverly and Jennifer L. (Jonathon) Kidder; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30 at the funeral home.
