BROOKFIELD, Ohio – Cecilia F. Leonetti of Brookfield passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 30, 2017, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage. She was 93.
Mrs. Leonetti was born April 16, 1923, in Sharon, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Stella Karpinski.
She was a lifelong area resident and a 1941 graduate of Farrell High School.
Cecilia was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was dedicated to her loving family, which her life revolved around.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.
Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Karen McMullin and her husband, Paul, of Brookfield; three grandchildren, Sloan Magliery and her husband, Tom, of Columbus, Ohio, Jordan McMullin, also of Columbus and Taylor McMullin, of Los Angeles, California; two great-granddaughters, Logan and Parker Magliery and many nieces and nephews whom she loved spending time with.
Besides her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Reno; two sisters, Carolyn Patton and Jenny Krokoski and two brothers, Alphonse and Edmund.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John XXIII Home, 2250 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, PA 16148, where Cecilia was cared for by their loving staff.
In keeping with Cecilia’s wishes, there are no calling hours.
Private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
