FORT MILL, South Carolina (Formerly Hermitage, Pennsylvania) – Jerry John Reinhardt, 70, of Fort Mill, South Carolina and formerly of Hermitage, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center – North East, South Carolina.
He was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on July 31, 1946 to the late Harrison and Elva Reinhardt.
Jerry graduated form Hickory High School in 1964 and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He worked for and retired from GATX, Masury, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois.
He was a past master of Sharon Lodge 250 of Free and Accepted Masons and was also an active leader of several Boy Scout troops.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Reinhardt. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Reinhardt and his wife, Samantha and Scott Reinhardt and his wife, Melissa; two sisters, Doreen Ward and Karen Hines and her husband, David; twin brother, Gary Reinhardt and his wife, Marsha and three grandchildren, Jacob, Kyle and Harrison Reinhardt.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Osborne-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 73-75 Columbia Ave., Greenville.
