WARREN, Ohio – Mildred Stephanie “Dutchess” Murray, 64, of 2281 Kenwood Drive SW, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Friday, March 31, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.
She was born January 1, 1953 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph Murray, Sr. and Mildred Ella Johnson Dawkins Murray.
Ms. Murray was employed with Washington Square Nursing Home for one year as a Nurse’s Aide, before retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Agape Assembly and enjoyed gossip, traveling, music, dancing and telling her story.
She was a 1971 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School.
She leaves to mourn five brothers, Oliver Dawkins, Donald (Elaine) Dawkins, Joseph (Linda) Murray, Jr. and Harrison Murray all of Warren and Commodore David Murray of Alexandria, Virginia; three sisters, Ms. Janice Dawkins of Pittsburgh, Ms. Claudine Murray of Warren and Mrs. Josephine (Archie) Kelley of Aurora, Colorado and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Agape Assembly.
Calling Hours will be held one hour prior to service, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 2281 Kenwood Drive SW and 2300 Kenwood SW, the home of her sister, Claudine Murray.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
