GIRARD, Ohio – Lucy DeSabato Bell, 94 formerly of North Avenue, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley Retirement Home in Niles.
She was born April 5, 1923 in Youngstown, a daughter of Antonio and Antoinette Clement DeSabato.
Lucy grew up in Brier Hill and was a lifelong member of St. Rocco Church.
She worked at Atlantic Mills for many years until its closing but her family and St. Rocco’s Church were her life’s passion. She will be dearly missed by her nephew, Stephen (Valerie) Molnar; her niece, Antoinette (Matthew) Jones; her four great-nieces, Ashley Rose and Abby Lynn Molnar and Mariah and Aubrey Jones and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Bell whom she married April 7, 1945 died November 21, 1952; her sister, Rose Marie Molnar and her brother, Edward DeSabato.
