HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania – Sandra L. DeMatteis passed away Friday, April 14. She was 63.
Sandra was born April 29, 1953 in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
She was a bartender for Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon and the Avalon Inn in Warren, Ohio.
Sandra loved her dogs, gardening, cooking, helping out with the Bill Rudge Ministries in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, spending time with her family and going on vacation to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
She leaves behind her husband, Phillip DeMatteis; a daughter, Shannon Kratko (companion, Scott Bremick); two sons, Tom (Meaghan) Kratko and John (Melissa) Kratko; her mother, Garnet (Noble) Allison; five grandchildren, Tristan and Victoria Bremick and Laynie, Adyson and Fisher Kratko; a sister, Sharon Macadoo and a brother, David Allison.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at John Flynn Funeral Home Chapel, 2630 East State Street in Hermitage.
Visitation will take place from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23 prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
A television tribute will air April 20 at the following approximate times:
6:41 a.m. WYTV and 8:41 a.m. MyYTV and 9:58 a.m. on FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
