YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – An hour of calling will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, celebrated by Father Edward Neroda, for Ted D. Seidler, 94, who passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017, at his residence.
Ted was born in Youngstown, on April 8, 1923, a son of John and Victoria (Lavenska) Seidler.
Ted was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He married his loving wife, Ingeborg Wittmann, on October 27, 1962.
Ted worked for Republic Steel for 41 years before his retirement.
He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic War Veterans Post No. 1222. Ted was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Church.
Ted leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Richard (Andrea) Seidler of North Lima and grandchildren, Sean, Aaron and Aleah.
Besides his parents, Ted was predeceased by his wife, Ingeborg; an infant son, John; brothers, Alexander and Stan Seidler and sisters, Stella Brinko, Mary Kiefer and Annie Marie Troll.
St. Stanislaus Catholic War Veterans Post No. 1222 will be having prayers at 8:45 a.m. prior to calling hours on Wednesday, April 19.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
