WARREN, Ohio – Olivia I. Cutsuries, 74, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born November 1, 1942, in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Steve and Helen Katsares.
She was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
She moved to Cortland in 1975 from Warren.
She had previously worked at Sam’s Club as a food demonstrator.
Olivia was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren.
She was a very loving, generous and caring individual. She loved baking and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Helene Garretson of Warren, Cathy Dickman of Cleveland and Anthony “Tony” (Amy) Cutsuries of Warren; three grandchildren, Brock Garretson, Olivia and Athena Cutsuries; two brothers, John (Paula) Katsares of Columbus and Michael (Tami) Katsares of Cortland and a sister, Irene Katsares of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, George A. Cutsuries who she married March 31, 1964 and passed away January 29, 1996.
Family and friends may call Monday, May 1 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren.
A service will be Monday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Olivia’s name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
