John Raymond Swab, Jr., Brookfield, Ohio - obit

BROOKFIELD, Ohio – John Raymond Swab, Jr., of Brookfield, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio, following a sudden illness, he was 61.

John was born March 27, 1956 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, a son to John Raymond and Hilda (Utberg) Swab, Sr.

A 1975 graduate from Brookfield High School, he had owned and operated a trucking fleet working through Erskine Trucking Inc., however, he last worked as a dispatcher for PI&I Motor Express in Masury, Ohio.

In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing pool. His American Pool Players Association League Team actually reached the amateur tournament finals held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Survivors include his sons, John R. Swab III and his wife, Denise of Masury, Mike Swab, Warner Robbins of Georgia and Jesse Swab and his fiancée Michelle Bergreen of Lafayette, Indiana; his grandchildren, Trevor, Seth, Mason and London Swab; his brother, Rodney Swab and his wife, Tabitha of Omaha, Nebraska and his extended family too.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his sisters, Bridgot and Brenda Swab and by his brother, Michael Swab.
