SALEM, Ohio – Clyde William “Bill” Pennell II, age 61, of Salem died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1956 in Alliance the son of the late Clyde W. Pennell, Sr. and Doris (Jordon) Parson.
Bill was a packer for American Standard for 22 years.
He was protestant by faith and a 1974 graduate of Ravenna Southeast High School.
Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a very devoted family man.
Survivors include his wife, Lois E. (Lottman) Pennell, whom he married September 27, 1975; a son, Ryan (Megan) Pennell of Powell; five brothers, Larry Pennell of Columbiana, Jeff (Kathy) Pennell of Columbiana, Gregory Pennell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, David (Diana) Pennell of Alliance and Les Pennell of Sebring; a grandson, Carter Pennell; four sisters-in-law, Brenda (Mike) Carnal of Centerville, Marsha (Mike) Rozeski of Salem, Cathy Shelton of Salem and Trudy (Kevin) Cheney of Salem; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A sister-in-law, Mary Ann Pennell and a brother-in-law, Ray Shelton also preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with his nephew, Tony Houshour officiating.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
