AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Earl “Butch” William Quinn, age 44, of Austintown passed away peacefully into eternal rest at his home on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
He was born on December 5, 1972 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Earl Scott Quinn and Barbara A. (Gardner) Quinn.
Butch married the love of his life, Mary Lou Bente on June 26, 1993 and they have had 23 years of blessed years of marriage together.
Butch had lived in Austintown for the past three years, formerly of Newton Falls, where he worked as a K-9 police officer for ten years before retiring in 2007.
Butch was a member of the F.O.P.
He enjoyed collecting coins, old money and old military relics.
Memories of Butch will be carried on by his loving family including his wife, Mary of Austintown; his mother, Barbara Quinn of Austintown; his daughter, Jessica Larch of Ravenna; his sons, Robert (Laura) Parris of New Port Richey, Florida and Ryan Quinn of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sister, Kathy Steele of Hilliard, Florida; his brothers, Robert (Vicky) Steele of Blairsville, Georgia, John (Tami) Steele of Warren and Daniel (Betty Clark) Steele of Jacksonville, Florida and his seven grandchildren.
Butch is preceded in death by his father Earl and one sister, Sonya Diaz.

Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mitch Meadors officiating.
