OVI Task Force holding 2 Youngstown checkpoints Friday night

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County OVI Task Force is holding two OVI checkpoints in Youngstown Friday night into Saturday morning.

The first will be at Glenwood Avenue and Playhouse Lane from 10 p.m. to midnight.

The second will be at Market Street and Hilton Avenue from 1 to 3 a.m.

In addition to the checkpoint, saturation patrols will also be out throughout the weekend.

After the checkpoints, officers said a few citations were handed out, but they made no arrests.
