FARRELL, Pennsylvania – A funeral service celebrating the life of Deacon Larry Lee, Sr. will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church with Rev. James McKeithan delivering the eulogy.
Deacon Larry Lee, Sr. was born October 27, 1950 in Magee, Mississippi a son of the late Joe and Jonnie Hooks Lee.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 Larry took his eternal rest at home with loving family by his side.
Larry attended Farrell Schools and started working at the age of 12 at John Hullier Clothing store in Farrell. Larry was was formerly employed by Dairy Farmers of America and was a street clothing vendor.
Larry was an ordained deacon with Second Baptist Church of Sharpsville.
He was a great father and as a grandfather his mission was to introduce his grandkids to the lord, which he did. Larry was a man of small stature but always made his presence known. He was a great debater and always had a joke.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 36 years Gwendolyn Lee; his loving children, Leslie JoAnn Abram (Lee), Exzabria Harrison, Larry Lee, Jr. (Danelle), Quentin Lee (Carla) and Silas Lee (Kahyla); his brother, Tab Lee, Sr. (Bessie); his sister, Michelle Jordan (Mel); his grandchildren, Aleayah, Amarri, Augustis, Giavonni, Zaya, Amara, Zi’ere, David, Quentin, Jr. and Gianna plus a host of other relatives and dear freinds.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tony Cromartie; his sister, Jennie Lee; his brothers, Buuny (Billy) and Bobby Lee and his nephew, Tab Lee, Jr.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
