WARREN, Ohio – Barbara E. Natale, 71, of Warren, passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 2017, with her loving family by her side.
Barbara will be sadly missed but always remembered by her family and friends for her kind heart and straight forward personality.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and teacher.
Born July 23, 1945, in Warren, Barbara was daughter of Joseph and Ann (Susko) Grgurich and was a life-long area resident.
Barbara was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University where she majored in Spanish and minored in English.
Barbara worked with young woman through grant funding helping to educate and shape their lives before she retired after 25 years of service with the Warren City Schools as a substitute teacher. She returned to the classroom after retirement teaching part time at John F. Kennedy High School in Warren for a number of years.
Barbara was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-St. James Church.
She was also past president of several associations including the 9 Hole Ladies Golf League at Trumbull Country Club, the Warren Junior Women’s League and the Trumbull County Women’s Bar Auxiliary. Barbara was also president of the Condo Board Association.
Barbara had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed golfing, working in her yard, shopping and traveling, especially to New York. She also loved socializing with her family and friends.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of over 49 years Atty. Anthony M. Natale; a daughter, MaryBeth (Scott) Miller of Orlando, Florida; a son, Anthony J. Natale of Warren; her granddaughter, Emily Miller and a sister, JoAnn Woodworth of Sarasota, Florida, along with many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Honoring Barbara’s wishes, a caring cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman (new location).
In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE, Vienna Ohio 44473.
Family and friends may visit Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home to sign the guest book and send condolences to the Natale family.
