YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 26, 2017, at the Metro Assembly of God for Geraldine “Geri” Turner, 84, Youngstown, who departed this life on Monday, June 19, 2017, at her residence.
Ms. Turner was born January 5, 1933, in St. Louis, a daughter of Clinton and Helen Churchill Turner.
She was a welder for General Motors for 20 years.
She was a member of the church, its Kitchen Ministry and Food Give-a-Way Ministry.
She leaves her daughter, Taryn Watkins; four grandchildren, Jarrod “Nikki” Watkins of Atlanta, Shayla (Charles Gruber) Watkins and Alexis Watkins, all of Youngstown and Tevin Watkins of Phoenix, Arizona; six great-grandchildren, Caliya, Cleveland, Christopher and Chyann Gruber and Abryana and Ayden Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Keith Turner and a brother, Stanley Turner.
Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
