MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio – Charles Thomas Muir, 35, of Mineral Ridge, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday morning, June 22, 2017, at his home.
Charles was born October 31, 1981, in Warren, the son of Richard and Suzanne (McMaster) Muir.
He was a lifelong area resident and attended Mineral Ridge High School, where he played football.
Tommy, as he was known as, was working as a carpet installer for a local company, his hobbies included fishing and playing Texas Holdem.
Tommy was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan and a big Dale Earnhart, Jr. fan and he loved watching NASCAR.
Besides his parents of Mineral Ridge, Tommy leaves two daughters, Briana and McKenna; three sisters, Brenda of North Carolina, Sherry and Michelle, both of Mineral Ridge and one brother, Mike of McDonald.
Besides his maternal and paternal grandparents, Tommy was preceded in death by one uncle, Scotty.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, where services will begin at 1:00 p.m.
A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 78 E. Liberty Street in Girard, starting at 12:00 Noon, to help with the costs of funeral expenses.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lane Funeral Homes to help with the funeral expenses.
