WARREN, Ohio – Deanna Denise Williams Washington, 56, of 1138 Wood St. SW, Warren, departed this life Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 4:57 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born December 3, 1960, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Charles E. and Elizabeth Ziegler Freeman Williams.
She was employed with Community Skills Nursing Center for six years as a nurse’s aide, retiring in 1996.
She was a 1978 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School.
She was a member of Elim Christian Center, where she was a member of the Usher Board and Nurses Guild and enjoyed reading, Scrabble and Uno.
She was married to Melvin Washington January 20, 1987.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn one daughter, Vontisha Williams of Warren; four brothers, Charles E. Williams, Jr. of Prince George, Maryland, Mario M. (Mary) Williams, Sr. of Hollywood, Florida; Pierre L. Williams and Damon Vaughn both of Warren; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Tammy Williams and one brother, Thomas Freeman.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Elim Christian Center.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to service 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon.
Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 1138 Wood St. S.W.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
