YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Patricia Ann Grace, 61, of 2961½ Roosevelt Drive in Youngstown, departed this life on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 8:07 p.m. at Cleveland Clinic, following an extended illness.
She was born on March 13, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Comer L. and Ruth B. Williams Grace.
She was employed with Youngstown City Schools for ten years as a teacher and Cuyahoga County Jobs and Family Services for seven years as a case manager, retiring in 2003.
She was a 1973 graduate of South High School and 1977 graduate of Miami University.
She was a member of Price Memorial AME Zion Church, where she served on several committees.
She was a member of the Youngstown Urban League and enjoyed watching sports, science fiction movies and traveling to casinos.
She leaves to mourn three brothers, Paul Grace, Robert Grace and Ronald Grace, Sr. all of Youngstown; one sister, Ms. Debra Lee Grace of Youngstown; one brother-in law, Jerry L. Lampley, Sr.; one Goddaughter, Mrs. LeAnn (Cornelius) Laster; one aunt, Ms. Delores Williams of Youngstown; two caregivers, Ms. Shalom L. Grace and Ms. Ashley R. Grace, both of Youngstown; two nieces, Mrs. Adrienne Billups and Ms. Brittney Gilbert, both of Massachusetts; five nephews, Paul A. Gilbert, Jerry L. Lampley, Jr., Brian M. Grace, Shawn M. Grace and Ronald Grace, Jr., all of Youngstown and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Wendy D. Lampley.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home Chapel.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6 at the chapel.
