Problem fixed for Trumbull County customers who couldn’t call 911

An issue with a fiber connection caused some Time Warner/Spectrum customers to be unable to call 911

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – People living in Trumbull County who subscribe to Time Warner/Spectrum’s phone system are able to call 911 again after an outage on Thursday.

An issue with a fiber connection caused the disruption around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Trumbull County 911 dispatch. Test calls were made from the dispatch’s Niles office, and Niles Police Department received them.
