WARREN, Ohio – Ethel M. Thomas, age 93, of Warren, passed away Saturday morning, July 1 at her residence.
Ethel was born August 26, 1923 in New Boston, Ohio to the late Samuel and Stella (Skaggs) Salyer.
She was a member of Easter Star in West Farmington for many years.
She was a resident of Champion for over 45 years.
Ethel was a proud homemaker, During WWII she also proudly worked at the Ravenna Arsenal.
Besides her parents, Ethel is preceded in death by her husbands Benjamin D. Thomas, Sr. and Stewart Latou and her siblings, Delbert, Audrey, Max, Erma and Eulois.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Thomas, Dan (Saralee) Thomas and Benjamin Thomas, Jr.; two daughters, Judith Latou and Cheryl (John) Kirby; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Jesse Scott.
Friends may call 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren; where the funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6 with Pastor Dan Devadan officiant.
