Rose D. (Fusco) Suhovecky, Girard, Ohio - obit

GIRARD, Ohio – Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home, for Rose D. (Fusco) Suhovecky, 101, who entered into rest Saturday, July 1, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, at Northside Hospital Medical Center.

She was born February 6, 1916 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Berard Fusco and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Suhovecky was a graduate of Scienceville High School.

She loved doing beauty work and was the owner and operator of The Adoria Beauty Salon, which was above the Warner Auditorium, now known as Powers Auditorium. She saw a lot of people come and go from the shop and always talked about her two for $5.00 perm sale.

Rose was a media church member of the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana under Jimmy Swaggart, which she watched on a daily basis.

She enjoyed talking to children, always had a beautiful smile on her face for everyone that she met or knew and especially loved her son, Rich.

She leaves her beloved son, Rich Suhovecky, with whom she lived with her whole life; her wonderful caregivers, Sadie Fennell and Lilly Foltz and extra special people in her life, John and Jackie Burgan, Verda Haggerty and Ken and Brenda Sereday.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; three brothers, John, Patrick and Guy Fusco and four sisters, Mary, Loretta and Janis Fusco and Theresa Kostura.

Family and friends may call on Friday, July 7 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Rich wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cheryl Williams, Marilyn Jacobs, Liz Schaffer and Dr. Howard Slemons.

Interment will be held at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
