YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirlynne “Blondie” Green Ford will be held Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. at J.E. Washington Funeral Home in Youngstown, Ohio.
Mrs. Ford departed this life Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center in Youngstown.
Mrs. Shirlynne ‘Blondie” Green Ford was born October 5, 1963 in Youngstown, a daughter of Shirley and Robert C. Green, Sr.
She was a loving and caring person who could brighten any room. She was a natural born star who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was known as the family chef.
She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. On July 1, 2017, she was called to her Heavenly home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Shirley Green; her siblings, Robert Green, Jr. and Jerrold Green, Sr.; her nephews, Robert Green III, Jerrold Green, Jr., Jerrold Kimbrough and Joshua Green; her nieces, Angel Jackson, JaLissa, Talica, Terreyjah and Amerah Green all of Youngstown and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Frank Ford, Jr.; her father, Robert C. Green, Sr.; her grandmother, Esther Heart; her brother, Terence Green; her aunt, Clara Crankfield and her uncle, Kenny Thomas.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 15 one hour prior to services at the J.E. Washington Funeral Home.
