Police responded to an early morning call regarding a shooting at a house in Warren.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – An 18-year-old man was found dead after a reported shooting in Warren.

The victim was identified by police as Tyler Mitchell. He was found on the sidewalk in front of a house on Burton Street SE.

Neighbors reported hearing three to four gunshots about 5:30 a.m. Monday. They saw Mitchell lying outside and called 911.

911 call: “There’s a man out here on my lawn”

“He was just cryin’, ‘Help me. Help me. Somebody please help me,’ and I was tryin’ to come as fast as I could, and I just couldn’t get to him fast enough,” said Kamela Gonzalez.

Police don’t have any suspects at this point and are still trying to determine a motive for the crime.

“I don’t know if it was random, him walking down that street, or if he was walking down that street to locate somebody or something. I really have no knowledge of that,” said Warren Police Capt. Robert Massucci.

Massucci said those with information should call police.
