MCDONALD, Ohio – Paula “June” Peterson, 64, of McDonald, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren after a short illness.

She was born July 28, 1952 in Brookfield, the daughter of Nelson and Marjorie Taiclet and had lived in the area all her life.

A 1970 graduate of Brookfield High School, June also studied at Youngstown State University.

She enjoyed cooking and trips to the family cabin in Pennsylvania.

She had worked in quality control for several automobile parts manufacturers and worked at Phil’s Place in McDonald during the late 90’s, where she was affectionately known as “June Bug”.

Surviving are her longtime companion, Nick Tadla of McDonald, where June made a house a home; two children, Toni (Bucky) Hobbs of Georgia and Jason Peterson of Henderson, Nevada; three grandchildren; a brother and a sister.

Her parents and a brother precede her in death.

Per her request, cremation is taking place.
