MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio – Janice K. Seletas, 77, formerly of Cortland, passed away late Friday night, July 14, 2017, at Vista Center at the Ridge.
She was born April 16, 1940 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Carmen and Genevieve (DiNello) DeSalle.
Janice was a 1958 graduate of Beaver Falls High School.
She spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.
She married George R. Seletas, Sr. on May 27, 1960. They shared 46 years of marriage and many happy memories together until his passing January 20, 2007.
Janice is survived by her son, George R. (Marci) Seletas, Jr., of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her daughter, Lori Cochran, of Niles; three brothers, David DeSalle, of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania and Ronald and Anthony DeSalle, both of Beaver Falls; a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Yargo, of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Douglas Halliday and Bailey Seletas.
Besides her husband, Janice was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William and a sister, Loretta DeSalle.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Ave., Warren, with Pastor James Holbrook officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20 at the funeral home prior to services.
