WARREN, Ohio – Nita Louise Workman Dennison, 75, of 1704 Oak Street SW, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following a short illness.
She was born February 1, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of William and Margaret Carmichael Workman, residing in the area since 1953.
Ms. Dennison was employed with Delphi Packard Electric for 25 years as a Laborer, before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of York Avenue Church of God, Louis Mitchell Elks Lodge and UAW Local 717.
Ms. Dennison enjoyed bingo and cooking.
She leaves to mourn two sons, Samuel (Anita) Dennison and Keith Dennison both of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Beth Ann (Carl) Williams-Foster and Ms. Debora Williams both of Warren; two brothers, Andre Edward Workman of Warren and Thomas Cambridge of Youngstown; three sisters, Mrs. Donna (Lee) Parrott and Ms. Kay Caldwell both of Warren and Ms. Stephanie Johnson of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kevin Daniels, Stashen Williams, Debanier Williams and Aerial Williams; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Dennision; one brother, William A. Workkman; two sisters, Ms. Roma Workman and Ms. Beverly Workman and a granddaughter, Ka’Nita Daniels.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the York Avenue Church of God.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon.
Family will receive friends at 1704 Oak Street SW in Warren.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
