POLAND, Ohio – Kevin Grant Boyer, 61 of Poland, passed away Friday morning, July 28, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, following many years of illness due to Paraplegia.
Kevin was born March 26, 1956 in Pennsylvania, a son of the late Irvin and Bertha (Myers) Boyer.
He was a 1974 graduate of Chaney High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Air Force as a Navigation Aid Equipment Specialist.
Upon his discharge, he worked for USPS as a letter carrier.
In his free time, Kevin enjoyed barbecuing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan as well as a Three Stooges fan.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his sister and caretaker, Karen Boyer, of Poland; a sister, Mary (Brad) Speece, of North Jackson; brother, William (Patty) Boyer, of Murrsel Inlet South Carolina; a daughter, Brie (Shawn) Virden, of Austintown; stepchildren, Marcy, Melissa and Bubba; his grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Skyler.
Friends and family may call Monday, July, 31, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Avenue, where a memorial service will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
