WARREN, Ohio – Joanna D. Walthour, 70, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren.
She was born on November 12, 1946 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Josephine Patrick.
She was a 1964 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Warren and had earned an associate’s degree.
For the last 23 years, she was a legal secretary for Harrington, Hoppe and Mitchell Law Firm in downtown Warren.
She was an avid cat lover, enjoyed playing the piano and was very involved in her church.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Walthour of Montoursville, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Allison, Marissa and Ellie Mahonski; a brother, Joseph Patrick of Champion; two nephews, Brian (Cora) Patrick of Casa Grande, Arizona and Michael (Jackie) Patrick of Cortland and a niece, Janessa Patrick of Cortland.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Patrick.
Family and friends may call on Friday, August 11 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at St John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Church) 420 North St., Warren, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the church, with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating.
Burial will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
