CORTLAND, Ohio – Debra “Debbie” Lance, age 55, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Debra was born June 11, 1962 in Warren to the late Howard and Dorothy (Coughlin) Lance.
Debbie was a lifetime Cortland resident and a graduate of Lakeview High School.
She was an assistant manager/clerk at BP/Circle K in Cortland for 17 years.
Debbie was very generous with her time volunteering with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Team and other awareness events.
Debbie attended the Harvest Christian Assembly of God.
She was also a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and avid Boyd Bear collector. Debbie had a heart of gold like no other, she loved meeting and befriending people.
She is survived by her brothers, Phillip (Sherry) Lance and Tom (Terry) Lance; two nieces, Erica (Eric) Baumgartner and Erin (John) Diacin, three great-nieces, Noelle, Brielle and Sophia and two great-nephews, Gavin and Dylan.
Besides her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her brother, Edward.
Friends may call 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17 at the Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St. in Cortland, where the Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18 by Pastor Ron Biehl.
Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
