YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Petersburg Cemetery, celebrated by Jim Mock, for Bonnie Danus, 70, who passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2017.
Bonnie was born November 22, 1946 in Youngstown, a daughter to Edna and Edward Fry Flickinger.
While Bonnie spent several years in Aurora Colorado and abroad in Germany, she spent the largest part of her life in Youngstown, Ohio where she worked at VFW Post 93 for over 20 years.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister, Judy (Terry) Mock; brothers Gary (Evelyn) Price and Robert (Sunny) Price; best friend and cousin, Marcia Nelson; nephews, Terry Lee Mock, Rodney Mock and Eric Price, Darren, Bill and Jake Sandy; nieces, Kelly Price, Lori Voytko, Heather Riley, Kristen Gries, Rayana Price and Diane Sandy and Bonnie’s beloved dog, Gizzie.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Danny Danus and her brother, John Flickinger.
Per Bonnie’s request, there will be no public calling hours.
