California man busted with $300,000 of pot in Ohio

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – A California man is facing drug charges after the Ohio State Patrol found 143 pounds of marijuana inside his rental car.

The driver was pulled over for a lane violation on the Ohio Turnpike in Summit County.

The marijuana was hidden in five-gallon buckets with wine labels on them.

It was worth about $300,000.
