Crews rescue trapped semi driver following rollover crash on I-80

The accident happened Tuesday morning just over the Ohio line in West Middlesex

A tractor trailer is off the road and on its side on Interstate 80 westbound, just over the Ohio line in West Middlesex, Pa.

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. (WKBN) – A tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 80 westbound in West Middlesex, slowing traffic for a few hours Tuesday morning.

The accident happened about 5 a.m. just over the Ohio line at mile marker two near the welcome plaza.

The driver was trapped for a while but crews were able to get him out. He suffered minor injuries.

One lane of I-80 westbound was closed for an hour as crews worked to tow the truck away. All lanes were open by 6:50 a.m.
