MASURY, Ohio – Ronald Rotunno, 81, of Masury, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Sharon Regional Health System.
Ronald was born on February 13, 1936, the son of Michael M. and Rosella (Morgan) Rotunno in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Brookfield High School, class of 1954.
Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Ronald worked as a car checker for Norfolk Southern until his retirement after 37 years.
On May 23, 1959 he married his wife, the late Judith (Jameison) Rotunno, whom passed away July 31, 2006.
Most important to Ronald was spending time with his grandchildren and family. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
Ronald is survived by his son, Michael (Danielle) Rotunno of Masury, Ohio; son-in-law, Tony Sciarro of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; sisters, Mary Ann (Robert) Paul of San Diego, California and Nancy (Don) Shields of Masury, Ohio and a brother, Charlie (Carol) Rotunno of Deleware.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jason and Michael Sciarro and Ciara and Sheridan Rotunno as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Rotunno; mother, Rosella Rotunno; wife, Judith Rotunno and daughter, Connie Sciarro.
Per his request, there will be no services at this time.
