YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mr. Emanual Gus Lolakis passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 with his family at his side at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born on January 29, 1939 in Farrell, Pennsylvania to Costas Lolakis and Filia George.
He was a 1958 Graduate from East High School.
He served in the Army National Guard for six years and he worked for General Extrusions for 20 years, and ten years for Easco Aluminum.
He loved going to the race track, playing cards, watching Sunday Football, “Great Steelers Fan” and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Patricia (Balas) Lolakis who he married in May, 1973 together with over 44 years of loving marriage; his children, Anthony (Brandy) Lolakis of Boardman, Emanuel G. Lolakis of Georgia; stepson, Kevin Redoway of Florida, Justine Lolakis Stamper of Georgia; stepdaughter and Tina Eckman of Nevada; his siblings, George (Elaine) Lolakis of New Middletown and Tina Imburgia of Youngstown and his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Ted Lolakis and Evelyn Tisler.
The family plans to do a memorial service at a later date.
