John Joseph Baborsky, Sharon, Pennsylvania - obit

SHARON, Pennsylvania – John Joseph Baborsky, 65, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at his home in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

John was born on September 12, 1952, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Albert William and Josephine Mary (Jablonski) Baborsky.

He was a 1970 graduate of Hickory High School and worked at Sharon Tube for over 35 years before retiring.

He was very loyal to the Blessed Mary and Sacred Heart of Jesus. He was there to always show others the truth of Mary and Jesus and share his roses with those that needed help. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Lady of Fatima and attended Queen of the Holy Rosary in Vienna. He was a long time Eucharist Adoration devotee at Notre Dame.

In his younger years he worked with disabled children and was an excellent baseball pitcher. He was great gourmet cook which will be truly missed by his family. He also enjoyed listening to music, dancing to polkas and other dances, especially the cupid shuffle.

John will be deeply missed by his sisters, Mary Ann (William) Cameron of Warren, Ohio and Josephine Goldman of Longmont, Colorado; his brother, William Baborsky of Warren, Ohio; five nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces and one great-nephew; of those include his two god children, Kristine Cameron and Rebecca Goldman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother in law Dennis Goldman.

A Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of the Holy Rosary in Vienna, Ohio.

Friends may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Lane Family Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel in Brookfield, Ohio, with a rosary starting at 6:30 p.m.

Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to mass from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Ocotber 9, 2017 at church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for mass at Queen of the Holy Rosary in Vienna, Ohio.
