WARREN, Ohio – Christine D. Garrett, 54, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 19, 2017.
She was born November 1, 1962 in Warren, a daughter of Donald and Shirley (Geary) Homistek.
Christine was a 1980 graduate of Bristolville High School.
She also proudly served her country in the United States Air Force.
For a time Christine worked as a firefighter with the Bristolville Fire Department, having once saved a young woman’s life, an accomplishment of which she was very proud.
She enjoyed listening to music and spending quality time with her family and friends. Christine was a kind, loving woman who loved her family dearly, especially her two boys, with all her heart. She will be sadly missed.
Christine is survived by two sons, Joshua D. Garrett and Aaron L. Garrett, both of Warren. She also leaves behind two brothers, Shawn (Melanie) Homistek, of Garrettsville and Kevin (Stacey) Homistek, of Austintown; her loving aunt, Marlene Lipscomb, of Southington and her beloved dogs, Jack and Magnus.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Amber Homistek.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Avenue, Warren, with Pastor James Dittmar officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28 at the funeral home prior to services.
She will be laid to rest in Sager Memorial Cemetery, Bristolville.
