YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – There will be a memorial service on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard with the Rev. Robert McFarland officiating for Raymond A. Terry, age 81, formerly of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Ohio Living Park Vista in Youngstown.
Raymond was born August 13, 1936 in Falconer, New York a son of Irvin and Lydia Wilson Terry.
He was a forklift operator for many years at Blackstone Manufacturing in Jamestown, New York.
Raymond was a member of Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard.
He will be sadly missed by his family; his children, Robert (Cheryl) Terry of Kennedy, New York, Lynn Terry, Grace Gardner, Delilah Terry and Mamee Terry all of Jamestown, New York. He also leaves his siblings, Floyd Terry of Alaska, Louise Davison of Jamestown, New York, Merle (Kay) Terry of Ashville, New York, Margaret Johnson of Jamestown, New York and Joyce (William) Crawford of Youngstown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Timothy Jungquist and Albert Terryand and his sister, Shirley Harrison.
There will be calling hours on Thursday, November 16, 2017 prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard.
Raymond will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, New York with graveside services to be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
