LIBERTY, Ohio – It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely death of our beloved brother, John M. Conroy earlier this week, Thursday, November 16, 2017.
John was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
John was born on February 24, 1959 in Youngstown, the son of the late Jack and Martha Conroy.
He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1977 and later completed his engineering degree at YSU.
John worked as an electrical engineer for Packard and Alphabet/Stonebridge prior to his retirement.
John was always there to lend a hand and a forever a loyal friend.
He leaves behind his sisters, Linda Conroy-Bush of Poland and Patty (Mark) Conroy-Smith; nephews Dylan and Jackson Smith of Rocky River and brother, James of Dallas. In addition to his immediate family, John is survived by his aunt, Virginia Conroy; numerous cousins and a multitude of cherished friends, including Michael, Tina and Molly Bury. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our “guardian angel here on earth”, John Freeze for all his support and guidance thru this difficult time.
John was a loving caretaker to his mother, Martha before her death. We were amazed to see the gentle kindness and compassion he showed to her.
He was an avid gardener, dog lover, sports fan, brew master and poker player. We will miss his elfish grin and laugh.
