YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Keith Llewellyn Penn, 61, who departed this life Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Main Campus.
Mr. Penn was born March 2, 1956 in Youngstown a son of James Edward, Sr. and Elizabeth Saunders Penn.
He was a graduate of North High School and had attended College in Kansas.
He was an Army veteran.
He had been employed as a telephone operator for AT&T and as a supervisor for InfoCision.
He was reared in Centenary United Methodist Church.
Keith loved being with family and loved the Cleveland Browns football team and any Ohio based sports team. He was an active member of the Mahoning Valley ReEntry Coalition where he served as sergeant at Arms.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Penn; his wife, Rebecca Brown; two sons, Jumal and Jerelle; his twin brother, Kevin (Monya) Penn of Pittsburgh; a niece, Lauren and nephew, James Penn; favorite uncle, Joseph “Jeep” (Gwen) Saunders; two cousins who were like a brothers, Derek and Karl Penn along with many other cousins and host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Penn, Sr. and a brother, James Edward Penn, Jr.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Monday, December 11 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
A television tribute will air Monday, December 11 at the following approximate times:
12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
