SALEM, Ohio – William E. “Dager” Slagle, age 65, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 22, 1952 in Salem, the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Allen) Slagle.
He was last employed as a truck driver at Coy Brothers and previously at Moore’s Trucking.
William was a graduate of South Range High School, and he was the Sergeant of Arms with the Sons of Steel in Columbiana.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Lodge of Salem and Erica Slagle of Nashville, Tennessee and a grandson, Jesse James.
A brother, Eugene Slagle preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
