SHARON, Pennsylvania – Alexis “Bunny” Lener, 71, of Hermitage, formerly of Farrell, died unexpectedly at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017, in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Born January 2, 1946, in Sharon, she was the daughter of Bronko and Stella (Rajsich) Generalovich.

Bunny graduated from Farrell High School in 1963 and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from Chatham College in 1967. S

he worked as a teacher at Conneaut Lake High School and at Our Lady of Fatima School. For the last 35 years, she was the office manager for Dr. Brian Generolvich.

She was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Hermitage.

Bunny was a former member of the College Club of Sharon and a PTO volunteer in the Hermitage School District.

Bunny’s focus and true happiness centered around her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Her love encompassed her entire family.

She is survived by her son, Jason Lener and his wife, Jodi, of Mahomet, Illinois; brothers, Dr. Brian Generalovich and his wife, Rosemary, of Hermitage and Nicholas Generalovich and his wife, Rose Marie, of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, McKinley, Cole and Callan Lener; nieces and nephews, Dr. Brock Generalovich, Dr. Stacy Generalovich, Luke and Sophia Generalovich, Alyssa, Samuel and Baylor Robb, Nicholas and Stanton Generalovich and her kumavi, Yvonne Klaric of Hermitage.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her great-nephew, Hudson Brian Robb.

You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest and most beautiful person we have ever known and even that is an understatement. Vecnaja Pamjat, our beloved Bunny and Nani.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Hermitage.

Calling hours will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 11 in John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 E. State Street, Hermitage.

There will be a prayer service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12 in the funeral home.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12 in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Hermitage, with Dedran Grabice and Rade Merrick officiating.

Burial will be in America’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
