SALEM, Ohio – Edith F. (Little) Galano 82, of Salem, passed away at 2:48 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 15, 1935 in Darlingon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Earl and Edith (Boyles) Little.
She was a former home health care provider.
She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
She is survived by her children, Karen Sharrone of Austintown, Gary Little of East Liverpool, Paul Bryant of Washingtonville, Jacqueline Sadler of Salem, Caroline (Jeff) Jernigan of Boardman, Joann (Randy) Work of Pennsylvania, Allen Scott of Salem and Sandra (Jeff) Messenger of Salem; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and her sister, Gertrude Biser of New Waterford.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Sam Galano; her sons, John Marino and infant, William; her siblings, Carl, Paul, Earl, John, Allen, Rebecca, Kathleen and Evelyn.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Solid Rock Community Church, with the Rev. Joe Sheely officiating.
