Florence L (Battista) Zoldak, Struthers, Ohio - obit

STUART, Florida (Formerly Struthers, Ohio) – Florence L. (Battista) Zoldak passed away peacefully Monday, December 11, 2017 at Stuart Nursing Care and Restorative Center in Stuart, Florida.

She was born October 20, 1927 in Struthers, a daughter of Frank and Frances Gillotti Battista.

She was a former member of Christ Our Savior – St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida.

A lifelong resident of Struthers, she married Stephen E. Zoldak on July 13, 1948, where they resided until their move to Florida in 1985.

Her husband proceeded her in death in 1996.

She was a loving wife and mother.

She will be remembered by friends and family alike for her positive attitude, open heart and beautiful laugh.

She leaves behind her sons, Jack (Laura) Zoldak of Versailles, Kentucky and Thomas Zoldak of Lexington, Kentucky; her daughters, Paula (Danny) Howard of Jensen Beach, Florida and Barbara (Ray) Harter of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Beth, Stephen, Ryan, Rachael and Hayley and a great-grandchild, Owen.

Florence was predeceased by a daughter, Janet Belding; her parents; her brothers, Joseph, Dominic, William and James Battista and her sisters, Georgiana Minghetti, Mary Botsko, Catherine Conner and Eleanor Papalia.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ Our Savior – St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, Ohio on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Friends may call at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to Mass on Saturday, December 16.
