Virginia Hinton, Austintown, Ohio - obit

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – There will be a memorial service held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman, for Virginia Hinton, 69, of Austintown who made her transition to her Heavenly home on Monday, December 11, 2017 with her family by her side.

She was born June 14, 1948 in Eutaw, Alabama, the daughter of Elmore and Easter (Manning) Hinton and moved to the Youngstown area in 1966.

Virginia was employed for 45 years at General Motors Lordstown Fabricating Plant and she was a member of the UAW Local 1112.

She enjoyed reading her Bible, shopping, traveling and was an excellent cook. She was also very talented and creative as an artist doing many free hand drawings. Virginia always decorated for every holiday and was the party planner for many family and friend’s events.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Lisa Hinton of Florida and two grandchildren, Bethany and Bradley Hinton both of Florida; a sister, Alabama Green and a brother, Gilbert (Beverly) Hinton both of Michigan and a brother, Isaac (Mary) Hinton in Alabama, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman (new location) prior to the memorial service that will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Hospice of The Valley for the care that was shown to them and Virginia.

Family and friends may visit to sign the guest book and send condolences to the Hinton family.

6:41 a.m. WYTV and 8:41 a.m. MyYTV and 9:58 a.m. on FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
