HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – A house fire early Sunday morning left two people homeless in Hubbard.

The Hubbard Fire Department said because the house was deep in the woods, they initially had trouble getting to it.

When they reached the house, across from 1610 Thomas Hubbard Rd., it was covered in flames. The two people in the house did escape though.

Brookfield and Liberty fire departments were also on the scene to assist.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire, but the State Fire Marshal is investigating the scene.
