GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania – Dolores M. Raiti, 83, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home in Greenville surrounded by family.
Dolores was born on August 29, 1934 to William and Ethel (Holzapfel) Shields in Transfer, Pennsylvania.
She attended Hickory schools.
Dolores worked as an inspector for Ohio Lamp General Electric Plant in Warren, Ohio.
On December 30, 1950 she married her husband, the late, Andrew Raiti, who passed away July 17, 2017.
She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Dolores volunteered at UPMC Greenville in the oncology Department.
She enjoyed crocheting and most importantly, spending time with her family; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Dale) Johnson of Transfer, Pennsylvania; son, Andrew James Raiti of Greenville, Pennsylvania; sisters, Roberta “Sue” (John) Regis and Ruby Hoover and sister-in-law, Shirley Shields. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, William Shields; mother, Ethel Shields; husband, Andrew Raiti; sister, Jean Burnette; brothers, William Shields and Robert Shields.
A special thank you to her granddaughter, Andrea who was her caregiver.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main Street, Sharpsville, Pennsylvania.
Panachida pray service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania with Father Kevin Marks, officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
