YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man was sentenced Thursday for a deadly shooting on Youngstown’s east side.

Judge Scott Krichbaum sentenced Kenneth Daniel to 18 years to life in prison for killing 24-year-old Tre Vaughn Bell. The sentence was part of a plea bargain with prosecutors.

Investigators say the two men were outside of the victim’s house on Verona Avenue on October 27. That’s when they say Daniel suddenly pulled a gun and shot Bell several times in the stomach.

Bell died later at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
